After thoroughly reading my new July 2003 issue of Car and Driver while on the crapper this afternoon (great issue, BTW!), I decided to peruse through the reader mail for a few laughs as usual. After flipping the first page of the Back Fires, "San Francisco, California" caught my eye near the top of page 14, followed by "James Burke" directly above that. Holy shit! That's my freshmen honors English teacher Mr. Burke, a brilliant man who has won many awards for teaching as well as writing a few books. I went back and read his letter, and although I do not agree with a lot of his very liberal ideas, it made me want to read the article that he was talking about: "Carjacker!" in the April 2003 issue of C&D.

Can anyone with that issue please scan that article so I could read it?
