Here’s Suzi the Suzuka Blue 2002 with our teardrop trailer on our cousin’s farm. We estimate the trailer at approx 700 lbs loaded.

Somebody posted a photo of pulling an aluminum boat to the lake with one about 10 years ago. I would not do it personally just because of the hitch sticking out, but if it works for light loads,

I remember that. IIRC it was a pretty big boat too, ha!

You can do a lot of things, doesn’t make them good ideas.

Trailer brakes? That'd be my only concern... I'm sure the S2000 could get it up to speed, but can it stop it quickly enough. Looks like a fun combo!

Looks great, and beats sleeping on the ground!

Neither our 4x8 aluminum utility trailer, nor the kayak trailer with 21.5' kayak, look as elegant behind the S2000, but both get the job(s) done.

I was worried too. It was my first trailer. The guy who made it didn’t think we needed trailer brakes. I don’t think most teardrops this light have brakes. The car stops well enough. I’m careful to leave more distance between and the next car. The most dangerous thing is that I forget it’s behind me.

it’s based on 5’ x 8’ aluminum frame.

It's your car and the warranty ended a decade ago.

A lifetime ago I towed a Hobie 14 on a lightweight trailer with one of my 2.3L Ford Pintos (yep, I had more than one!) and a manual transmission. Not designed for towing either. Had no problems. YMMV.

Yeah, that's a big kayak. I've got a 14' tandem that we throw on top of the SUV. But that's just a recreational kayak....at 21.5' must be a serious expedition kayak.

Can you and should you are two different questions. You can spit into the wind doesn't mean you should spit into the wind.

Jk, that's awesome man.
