^ Perhaps it'll prevent door dings by slowing down some inconsiderate neighbor's door. Another advantage is that you could easily use this capsule with a dirty car, since it's a bubble and doesn't really touch the car.

It has to touch the car at first...right?
I'd imagine it would go something like this:

1. Drive onto the "pad"
2. Drape the top part over the car
3. Zip up the border
4. Plug in the fan

I think it would be funny to see a crappy car painted on the side of the bubble.

This is exactly what I would be afraid of. My neighbors sons would probably love to throw their lawn darts at it.

Well if some punk does decide to puncture it, it's supposed to patch easy.

From the site:

Q.) What happens if I get a hole in it?

A.) The upper shroud is made of 10 mil PVC. If you do happen to puncture the unit use a piece of clear 100% PVC shipping tape. This will bond to the upper shroud and will not come off.

The reason that it interests me is because:

1. My car is driven sparingly.
2. I think this will be less of a pain than a car cover.
3. It covers the whole car, including the wheels.
4. I have to keep it outside because my S2000 is in the garage.

I thought about a parking lift but that requires a new garage door to clear the lift. Can you say $$$$$$

Oh, believe me I've thought about building another garage but it's not that easy. I need a building permit, then my property taxes will go up as well as my home owners insurance. I'm not even sure if my neighborhood association will allow it.
