car history help
Hi all,
Is there any website you know of that has a list of cars, past and present that list out the great cars that made a difference. Like the 57' Chevy, the 67' Mustang, the 99' S2K, the 02 M3, etc.
Thanks,
Frank

Actually it's the 64 Mustang ....... 1st pony car. And the 64 GTO started the muscle car era !
I haven't seen a automobile historical web site. You might want to try http://cars.hemmings.com/
for starters.

I'd ask Mr. Google. He tends to find such things quite well.
For an impromptu list, You could ask here. We're all know-it-alls anyway
(Mercedes) Benz No. 1 Patent Motor Car - the first car, ever.
Model-T (mass production)
Porsche 356, 914, 911
Ferrari 250 GTO... oh heck, just about anything with a prancing horse.
Shelby Cobra
M-B 300SL
VW Beetle (the old one - all time best selling car)
BMW 2002 (father of all modern compact sports cars)
American muscle - Corvette/Mustang/Camaro/Firebird/Charger/442/GTO etc
Miata (rebirth of the "real" sports car)
