Yuck, that looks exactly like a C5

The headlights look a little like the last Supra.

Why can't GM buy some good style guys from VW or Ferrari?

It looks lean and mean. Imagine under 3000lbs and 450hp from the C6 Z06 version. I can assure you I'm saving my money now and will be keeping my current C5.

actually the front looks like a sloping SRT10 viper hood. The lights look almost exactly the same.

I am kinda disappointed that it looks so much like the C5, but that isn't a bad thing really...the C5 isn't an ugly car by any means. i think I will wait for the C6 Z06 though. If the rumors are correct 2800lbs and at least 450HP. That sounds more like it!

you think they can get it down to 28000lbs? I'm not doubting you, I'm just saying that it will be a fairly radical move (in the right direction)- cars seem to get heavier every generation. It's nice to see one that might shed a few pounds.

I'm not sure. The normal C6 is losing 150lbs or so from the C5, but for the C6 Z06 to lose 200+ lbs from the previous version of the Z06 would be a stretch...it's just a rumor right now. But i gurantee you it will be less then 28000lbs!!

I really hope they do. Just imagine car that weighs about the same as the S2000 with the torque curve of the LS6+ pushing out at least 450HP if not 500HP. The two leading rumors are either 450 or 500 HP out of a 6 liter motor.

*cough* not the real thing *cough*. The only picture i see that looks moderatley different than the c5 is the first picture, which is on a white background and lacking any real reflections/shadows. and if those outdoor pics aren't a current c5 with wrappings on the front and back and a few littel changes in the body, then i don't what kind of enthusiast i am. Then again, maybe the jump is going to be a relativley minor from c5 to c6 v. the c4 to c5 jump. my $.02.

Old rumors about 2800 lb cars will not happen, unfortunately. The frame will remain steel for stiffness, and the aluminum frame is the only way to drop that much weight. Nonetheless, it will lose plenty of weight for sure!
