Default Cayenne Turbo S

Don't know if this is 'news' or not. I read there has been an option package (at least in Europe) for a S on top of the Turbo.

Costs $21K over the 450-HP turbo and $69K (almost the price of a 911) more than the 250-HP V6 Cayenne.

Some people have money out the wazoo (you guys remember than E-trade comercial?)

I am with you on the SRT8.

Cheaper speed that still handles reasonably well, looks decent and has a warranty.

I know a guy in Barcelona with one (none S that is). Of all the places to own a fast vehicle ... makes no sense. Unholy fast for such a big rig though.

I think I'd get the regular Cayenne Turbo, then modify it for a lot less than $21K to make more power than the Cayenne Turbo S.

At least, I think I would. I know Porsches are easy to modify but probably really expensive.

Steve - any idea what it'd cost to take a Turbo to Turbo S (in this vehicle) in terms of power?

GIAC chip, fabspeed bypass pipes and a filter. Aftermarket parts are stupid expensive (for the most part) because they can be. 3-5 grand depending on used/new parts.

That has got to be the dumbest car buy ever.

I don't care how rich you are. There are much better ways to spend your money.
