Default Cheap fun ideas

So i sold my s2000 while it still has value in order to help meet my "after college" goals. I know i'll miss having a spory car, i'd ultimately like a cheap thrill!

I'd like something that looks decent, has somewhat fun handling but more powerful than a miata, but still relatively reliable.

I was thinking GSX-ish (are they reliable though)

Would like to spend less than 6K

GSX as in a DSM? I've had 3. I would never consider owning one as my only car again. I know alot of people on dsmtuners that would agree with me too.

240sx?

You should get a first gen (89-92) probe gt turbo. Those cars are a blast, not something you see every day on the road, and actually fairly reliable. They do look a tad dated but not too bad. I dunno, just thought I'd throw it out there.

E36 3 series. Find someone who's taken care of it and they're generally solid.

It's going to be hard for me to be satisfied after the S. I may wait a few years to see if Honda brings out a successor. I really am starting to think buying a 6k "sports car" is just going to be dull, I'm going to need a new hobby.

You generally get what you pay for, and have to sacrifice something to save money!

Miata - power
Sportbike - safety/port from elements
GSX -reliability/open air

i've got the best of both worlds, maybe we can help each other out as i want to get back in an S2000.

I have a 90' Miata with a full flying miata suspension package, Frame Rails, hard dog Roll Bar, 11" brake set up (not installed), and a greddy turbo kit. Makes the car quick enough but its not breaking any speed records. It's also got 15" Konig Rewinds with almost new Toyo T1R's on it. Set up perfect for autocross or track. Also have a hard top and new soft top installed with glass rear window.

Upgraded radiator and fans. Fun car, i just miss my S2k. i'm in CT and i'd be willing to sell it in your price range. Let me know what you think. It has 144k miles but these motors last well into the 200's.
