Default Cheap mid-engined Audi sportscar...

The R8's little brother is headed for production. Sounds interesting...

Hell YES. Here's to more manufacturers going smaller/cheaper/lighter.

Let Audi style it and Porsche engineer it. That'd be an amazing combination.

Nice. Exactly what I've been looking for since Toyota stopped production of MR-S.

Hmm, yeah I'll believe it when I see it.
Me, I'd take the 2.0 turbo or vr6 variant, I'd prefer rwd over quattro, and keep the cost around 30K and yeah my cheap ass might even splurge for it. But I just don't see it happening. The R32 which has a mass produced since the early 90s variant of the staggered inline size, uses a mass produced body, and for the most part is essentially a hot version of the GTI still costs around 30K. A Scirrocco (spelling) in comparable trim would cost more. So in an age where manufacturers can remove stuff and charge more provided the vehicle is a special model, how is audi going to charge less for this car than a TT?
