I don't see how that would work at all if the route the "bus" takes has any turns or curves in it. I guess maybe for straight routes, it might be cheaper to build than a proper el/monorail?

I didn't like the idea until I saw that it's on a track. It's really more of a train than a bus. I think it's cool.

If the bus is on somekind of slot track (the driver can't veer anywhere outside the specified track) I think it's cool. However, if the "bus" is free moving, not a chance.

seriously. SO potentially dangerous. On a Different note, This hasn't been the only big stupid cheap quality thing china has built. Anyone ever heard of the 3 gorges hydroelectric dam, or the Olympic Stadium? Poor QC, unresearched future outcomes... I'm all for the Chinese, but their love for building large, terrible things is definitely not in best interest of the people.

But whatever, it's a pretty cool idea.
