Default Convertible with cloth seats

Do you think leather interior is a must for a convertible?

May consider a Ford Mustang with cloth interior. Bad idea? Will I regret not getting a leather interior 5 or 10 years from now?

TIA.

I prefer cloth seats in any car when new. The problem is that they usually don't age very well.

Bird poo on a cloth seat does not sound like a good time.

Leather is much easier to clean. Cloth is much more comfortable after sitting in the sun.

Leather seats in a rag top is retarded. Burns your ass in the summer, freeze your ass in the winter, you constantly have to treat / condition the leather, provides no ass grip in a 4 wheel drift. Unless its Rolls Royce leather and you have someone on staff to maintain it for you more trouble than it's worth. Quality leather smells great. Cheap car leather must come from downer cows.

I had a Miata years ago with cloth seats that were awesome. Cool in summer, warm in winter, my wife would steam clean them once a year and they looked new again.

Since this is a S2000 forum, and it's OEM leather, (some of) you guys wish it had cloth seats?

There would probably be a decent market for cloth S2000 seats if someone wanted to take the time to make all that. But then some could just buy Brides or Recaros.
