Default Cops found my car...

The Santa Maria PD contacted me today about my 91 CRX siR.

Apparently, it was found in pieces at Lake Oso Flaco. North of Guadalupe and South of Nipomo. (I used to live in Santa Maria, CA...now I live in Lompoc)...

Well, anyway...to make a long story short. I doubt that any of my parts are still on it. And I considered the car a total loss the moment it got stolen because I only had liability...
Now the towing company wants money for having towed the car from the lake to their place. wtf mate?

Here's what I had...

Hell, I may just take some photos of the aftermath...

Wrong forum. This is S2000 talk. However, if you got an insurance payout is is not your car. It belongs to the insurance company. Tell the tower to take it up with them.

Shotiable:

That's a damn good question. I don't know of any state that will issue one the same vanity plate for a multitude of cars.

Another subject. I can't imagine having ONLY liability insurance on a car with the value of any year s2k. Especially from one with the money to have that fine stable of cars. So lack of comprehensive and collision insurance CAN"T be from poverty here. I guess there are folks in the world who have so mch money that they can afford to "self insure" against all but liability. Maybe I'll be one when I grow up.

Thanks,
Richard

The plate stays with the owner, not the vehicle.

Why did you lower all those cars? Those would've been some nice rides if you didn't rice em all out.
