Default Could it be done?

I was wondering if you could fit a F20c engine in a miata. I was wondering since my S2k is salvage now and i copuld get a cheap miata.

Anybody with information, i would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you have a nice day.

Yes it can, I saw one for sale on EBay for 14K that was done up quite nice. Looked very stock except for the engine/tranny.

How hard it is to do, I have no idea.

I saw the same sale on eBay.

Not only did the F20c install look stock, the owner also swapped out the Miata gauge cluster and installed the digital dashpod from the S.

It looked pretty good but was selling pretty cheap. Makes you wonder if there was something wrong.

I cant imagine 240hp with those tiny 14" stock tires.....might get a bit hairy....would make a HELL of a drift car, though. You would probably have to custom fabricate the engine mounts.

I guess if you have a lot of time in your hands...wouldn't it make sense to just supercharge or turbocharge the Miata? Wouldn't results be better that way? You could finance it by selling the S2k parts out...?

Wow, somehow Formula 1 cars manage to make do with 13" rims. Imagine how fast they'd be with some killer 19" rims!
