I've driven both the Crossfire and SRT6. Didn't like the Crossfire at all but priced in the low 30's the SRT6 is a hell of a deal. The car is very quick and handles fairly well. Didn't like the automatic and at MSRP it's way over priced but it's not bad with the way they're now dealing on them.

I saw a brand new SRT-6 in the local papers in the low 30's as well. At that price, it should be a damn good car, even if it does have an automatic. It would smoke our S2000's pretty bad. They trap 108mph or thereabouts.

What other NEW car for low 30's can run 108mph trap speeds?

Nice looking but based on a lame MB. I've only driven the coupe. I liked it. I do think this car would sell better if it had an Audi badge on it.

It is a hard-top previous gen SLK, but it really could be a decent track car with the stiff chassis, good brakes, and great blown V6. For low 30's, it would be hard to go wrong.

Although, it is SMALL, but it really doesn't look bad. From the rear and rear 3/4 view, it actually looks pretty "exotic" and cool. They still catch my eye on the road. Not implying they are beautiful or anything, but very unique in a not bad way.

Did I miss something? It looks like the SRT6 coupe is still over $37k.

Those were overpriced to begin with, but the use of Overstock.com is pretty unique.

The crossfire seemed like a lame idea from go. I mean they're useing mechanicals from the 90s SLK that weren't very loved to begin with.

Then the MSRP was too high, I mean the SRT6 was up against the C6, I don't think the lame duck (soon to be orphan model) has any chance against a C6.

Now take 20% off it looks a bit better, but not for anyone who paid near list price for them.

I LOVE the idea of selling cars on the net at huge discounts.

It'd be great for some clearing house to sell cars, cut out the salesman and huge dealer profits. just need to make a few bucks per car to make a profit.

Last time I checked, the Mustang Cobra isn't available for '05.
