hey guys im kinda new to the biker world but today i went dirt biking and i have to say it was the best feeling ever. it was my 1st time on a bike actually and i was doing pretty good. only busted my ass once but im not one to quit. everybody falls i know this. thast how u learn. so my question to u all is on where i can start finding more about bikes liek i do with cars. i have an 02 s2ooo and i know a lot about cars but now i really wanna get into bikes. what do u guys suggest. i wanna learn about street bikes parts performance differences in types like honda is th ebest car dealer ship ever
i want to knwo what bikes r good and what not. if anybody can lead me to the direction and how to learn or what i can read or what i should do please let me know. im 22 now and want to start riding. thanks

As for learning how to ride all the US bikers on forums I frequent swear by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Here's the link:

also check out www.sportbikes.net. it has a ton of good info and a newbie area. that is where i got most of my info before i started riding. (currently kawasaki ninja 500r)
i also recommend taking the msf course in your area before street riding, it gives you the basics and lowers your insurance. plus it gives you the skills that may save your live someday.
