Default Daily Driver Reccomendation

I need some advice on a daily driver for NYC. Currently drive a Mercedes RWD C220 and been having bad experiences this winter. I am going to switch to either a AWD or FWD car. Can someone give me pros and cons to driving the following cars daily including winter.

Audi 1.8T Quattro
Audi TT 180hp Quattro
Subaru WRX
Acura RSX

I will be running snow tires in the winter. Still want a sporty car with MT and firm suspension. Any comments or advice will be greatly appreciated.

The WRX is the sportiest and the cheapest. It'll eat up the snow.

Audi are not my cup of tea especially for the premium price.

RSX is nice but the TSX is nicer (IMO)

go with whatever feels right inside of you.. after all it's your decision and you'll have to drive it everyday

I'd go with the WRX. It's the cheapest and fastest out of the bunch and will do fine in the snow.

Subie and don't look back.

The Audi's are both very nice but too much coin.

There's nothing wrong with the RSX (other than the fact that it isn't exciting to look at) but it doesn't have AWD.

The subaru is cheap to buy, cheap to own, will last you forever and won't break your heart if you track crap in the car or some knucklehead gives you a door ding.

I'd get the WRX in your climate.

Though, my g/f has a TSX and it's probably the best entry-lux sedan out there, especially for the money.

NYC? I wouldn't spend nearly that much on a daily driver there. Giant potholes, insane cabbies, high theft rates...

are you getting rid of your benz or are you just buying a supplement car for the winter??

if you are getting rid of the benz, then i would not consider anything less than an audi or bmw. i don't know how much a 325xi is, but i would consider that car. or if don't mind going japanese, you can alwasy get the g35 awd. the 1.8t is really uninspiring unless you plan on modding it.

if this is a supplement car, then heck, just get the wrx. it's a fun car that's awd and doesn't cost that much.
