Default De Lorean's rock!!

I am not really into older cars, I like to have the most technilogically advanced cars. That is why I got my S, because of the engineering and the handling but I just have to say that the De Lorean is one of my most favorite cars on the road. I would just love to own one of those babies. Recently I saw one that had been restored and well taken care of. The outside and interior were all very clean and I had mad respect for whoever owned that car. I have seen some in the past that have been neglected and it is sad because in my opinion those cars are a part of history. I say that because not only are they not produced anymore, but DMC does not even exist any longer!! If I were to get a De Lorean my license plate would say GTNO TME I just wanted to share my love for this car, am I alone?

I liked the idea but it was a lead-sled. Did you find the secret cocaine-filled compartment?

Oh no, they went down in a much more flamboyant way -- cocaine smuggling, money laundering, etc.

It's too bad really, because at the time the basic premise of the car was different, and even today the design is somewhat classic.
