Didn't realize the C63 AMG was this quick
Car and Driver recorded some amazing performance from the 2012 C63 AMG Coupe:

Quarter mile of 12.1s @ 120mph is moving. This car did have the optional Performance Pack, which bumps power from the base 451 to 481.

Yeah, they are that fast. And the coupe weighs about the same as the sedan so you get that performance either way. BTW the "performance pack" overhauls the engine quite a bit and more or less makes it very similar to the SLS's engine (minus the dry sump and a few other things). It may be underrated but I don't think by too much. However I think it is given a slightly restrictive (though not quiet!) exhaust. Headers and a good tune seems to uncork quite a bit of horsepower from that engine.
I hate not being able to row your own, but this car may be one of the few that would leave me satisfied with an automatic

Who cares? There is a warranty for when it breaks (and their pretty reliable, a few friends have 40-70k miles on em with no issues). And i would just get rid of before the warranty is over and get a new car. If you have the $ for the c63 + gas + tires; etc, you probably have the $ to get a new car every couple of years or to just lease
I care. Because in 2 or 3 years when they get some miles on them and cost 1/4 of what they cost now (ever wonder why European vehicles depreciate so fast???) you will have kids buying them up trying to act all tough when in reality, they are driving a roach with a leaky rear main seal, ripped axle boots, and a horde of electrical problems. I highly doubt your buddys have 0 problems with their cars... Put them up on a lift and i bet any mechanic with half of a brain could point out a couple problems which would probably cost thousands to repair at a dealer.

There was a very limited UK release I think, which had something like 380kw's. Compared to the SLS with 420, the perf pack C63 is well short at 358.
