Z06 no doubt sounds meaner.
Surely you jest...I viper ripped it in front of my restaurant, and it scared people.

A Viper is just plain special. I think it'd make you feel great every time you got in it...walked up to in a parking lot...detailed it. It's real and it's up front...the damn thing is wild. Gotta love it. Forget the numbers for once and go with what your heart tells you. Viper FTW...and I'd get the vert.

Viper wins hands-down in my book, albeit it may be a tad slower.

True. It actually adds another $4k onto the cost of your Porsche unlike how BMW actually offers a discount, but I have to disagree with it being nothing special. I think just being in Germany and being handed the keys to your brand new car at the factory is special enough. The Ring is a huge bonus on top of that. I'd pay the $4k since it's not like it's a huge % increase on a new Porsche.

I don't care what the % delta is, $4K is $4K.

The viper is every bit the challenger on a race track and it looks a lot better. Once you lower it a little it looks amazing and now with 600HP I can't believe it's not the obvious choice, but to each his own.

I voted for the Z06 but might change my mind if the Viper was the one formerly belonging to Jenna Jamison, as long as she came with it. I did see this Viper after a local car store owner purchased it. He later sold it. It looks a lot better with her on it.

Dude, the Z06 outhandles, out accelerates, easier to live with, doesn't catch on fire (above the exhaust), basically outperforms the Viper. No question I'd take the Viper (not a typo).

Having driven the C6 Z06 and the SRT-10 Coupe, unlike most in this thread, I will take:

The Z06 for it's engine, acceleration, and interior goodies.

The Viper Coupe for it's handling, brakes, seating position, and cool looks.

Overall, I'd have to go with the Z06, but the Viper Coupe is a very, very close second. Price/discount would be a deciding factor.
