I suspect that we may say a Razor version 2 at the NAIAS or LA in January - a bit more finalized.
BTW, that isn't the best angle of the car, IMO.

The side profile is really nice as is the rear end.

Light, cheap, RWD and fast; what's not to like?

The side is definitely an interesting angle. From the back to front, I see audi TT all the way up until the A-pillar then all of a sudden CHOP! I do like the styling. From the picture in this post the cabin section reminds me of a bel-air for some reason!

Yes.

Personally, I like the overall styling, except for the abrupt rolling dropoff of the cabin. Needs to be more angular to stay in theme with the rest of the car.

And as ElTianti said: Light, cheap, RWD and fast. Looks don't matter from behind the driver's seat!

Because of the headlights and the 60's-style dash, I would NOT buy it, even for $15,000. It looks like the deformed child of an Aztek and a MR2 Sypder I agree that a low-priced, light weight sports car should be made... but the Razor isn't it.

Looks to me like a cross between a 350Z and a spyder.

I See:

Audi TT (rear end)
Honda S2000 (fender flares/side profile/steep windscreen)
old pickups (wraparound windscreen)
Nissan 350Z (hood/lights)
Dodge Ram (front fascia)

Automotive styling is part imagination and part stealing. This was a concept, and the end product won't look like this. The one-off bits don't work on a medium production $15k car, so expect the headlights to be ditched in favor of something in the DC parts bin, along with the mirrors, tail lights, seats and interior trim, and so forth.

I thought this car would be the greatest thing ever...lots of power in a lightweight package for a good price. Then I saw that pic WestSideBilly posted. Ugh, that looks horrible. If they can fix the styling from the A pillar back and bring it into production with similar specs and at a low price, it'll kick butt. Normally, I wouldn't see that happening, with the general publics current infatuation with suvs.... But they did release the Neon SRT4.
