It's kinda funny, the S2000 is becoming more and more popular it seems, so I get asked which is better more now than before. Anyway, my vote is 06+ AP2, followed by 04-05 AP2 and then 02-03 AP1. 9k redline is a nice novelty, but if you don't look at the tach while driving you'll never really notice it, but you will notice the torquier power delivery, and with a tune you can get a 9k redline and more pronounced VTEC KICKED IN YO feeling.

I really hate the majority of the press, the same idiots who overlooked certain cars that eventually led to their demise and led to cars evolving into the state they are now, now say how much they love them. Zero responsibiity for influencing cars into being bigger, complicated, faster but at the expense of being engaging, affordable, simpler. So they kill off the type of cars we love, and then come back in and makes them more expensive used.

The monkey see monkey do thing to do now is say how it's not all about power and track times, and zeroing in on cars that are more engaging, etc.
