Default Drove M3 convertibles today

I was thinking of trading the S2000 for an M3 w/SMG so my wife could enjoy sharing a convertible along with me. She refuses to drive a stick, and after 33 years with her, I'm not about to change her.

I could write alot about this topic but let me make it short. The S2000 is some car. I'm not saying it's better than an M3. That M3 is quite a car too. They're just different. When I got back in the S2000, I pushed it and still really got a rush driving it. To me, that says alot about our cars. I've always said the S2000 reminds me of my old 944 Turbo. I'll stick with that comparison. Pocket Rocket.

I'd like one of each.

The best scenario is to have an e46 m3 as a daily driver and have your s2k as a weekend fun car.

I'll take a 540i over the current M3. I might change my mind with the new V8 M3 coming out soon.

the E46 ///M3 is one of the sexiest bimmers ever made. the current 5 series looks like it should be on a saturn lot parked next to ions.

thats great to hear. it seems like the s2k has something that very few cars have. i see so many people leave (new car) and come back because they miss the car. this is hard to find in other forum. hence the reason why i am desperatly trying to buy one. i want to join the fun.

Yes, S2000 is a quite a car. I've said it before, I'll say it again. When I traded my S for an MY03 M3 coupe last year, I thought I was through with a driving a light weight, open top roadster, but now I know I'm not. I must have BOTH!
