Default ebay scam?

Curious listing. There was also a 2002 c5 vette last week that had 45k and a BIN of $7,000. The guy said he was in Hungary and the car had US specs. Whatever that means. Looks like a scam. If you notice, he wants to do things outside of ebay massaging, same with the vette. The vette listing was pulled by the auctioner because he "was geting too many emails". This Elanor looks like a 30k car don't know for sure .

It is now up to $50,000,000. I just bid $49 mill but it was too low.

His other vehicle is going for more than $66 million. Forget it...I don't think I can afford them.

I've had some good experience and some not so good but I think it is getting pretty dodgy. I think they may have lost control.

If I had a dollar for every scam (including successful ones) I've seen on Ebay, I'd certainly be a thousandaire by now. I bet countless of people have been scammed on there.

I haven't done a shred of business on eBay in over 5 years, and from the sound of it I got out while the gettin' was good. Glad I never had to deal with all this crap when I *did* shop eBay.

But really, eBay scams or not it sonds just a lot sketchier to me if I'm trying to buy a car over an internet auction, than if I'm say, buying a digital camera. There's just no way at this point in time I can see myself bidding many thousands, or even tens of thousands, for a car sight unseen. I guess I need a bigger, brassier pair of balls to even give it a second thought.
