GS 430 > RL > M45

I dont know why they used the V8 models instead of their V6 models.

I call BS on this review; they compare both the M45 and RL at exactly $50,000 with a $60,000 GS430. Should have compared it to the GS300 which would be $50K once you put the navi package.

What they are comparing are cars people cross shop. It isn't lexus and infiniti's fault that honda only offers v6 engines.

I agree -- this gets back to an old -- long -- post wherein I stated as much, the difference of 5 or even 10k at this price point is negated by many folks. If you want value, buy an Accord, Camry or Kia.

That's the same order I'd take those cars too.

i think they were just comparing the top version of those models with each other. that's not necessarily BS. like someone else said, it's not lexus's fault that acura's top version of the RL only has a v6.

But from what I've read, the RL should handily out-handle the other two.

yeah, until the SH-AWD system develops electronic gizmo problems. i owned a prelude type-SH years back, and that system was great when it was working properly, but was a nightmare once something went wrong. i had a problem with the ATTS system, and it literally took me 6-7 trips to the dealer, over a 2 month period, before they were able to figure out and fix the problem. after that frustrating experience, i decided to get rid of it before my warranty was up, and as a result i bought an s2000 to replace it. so i guess in a way, that whole ATTS problem was a blessing in disguise.
