Default Electric car - 2168 lb-ft torque

This thing has 4 electric in-wheel motors making 1091 hp and 2168 lb-ft torque. Is this the future of supercars?

No, but it's the future of the Infiniti G35.

the answer is no. there's just no way to make that handle the way supercars do know.

also, how do you charge it? I'd hate to see that electric bill

2168 lb-ft... but if it's like most electric motors that's at 0 RPM and goes down from there. On the other hand, that's true off the line torque!

Until battery technology and the ability to make big, portable, long lasting electrical energy, it will be very combersome to drag miles and miles of extension cords around.

I don't care if it is the future of super cars I would be more interested in real world application.

How about 3000 pounds or less, with 300 hp and 300 lb/bs of torque, overnight recharge and 150 mile range and it would be great to commute in.

the range of that with the current technology is about from your garage to your drive way

great idea, but technology needs to play catch up
