Not sure why... but I'm crying! The Honda accord has a quicker sprint than we do. That sucks! And we are equal with the RSX-S.

Not sure it's believable- 0-60 in 7 seconds seems a bit high.

So the 4.6 DOHC is in the 10 best engines in the world - at least as presented by Saleen? That I agree with

edit: correction - slithr is correct - the S7 uses a 7 liter pushrod V8.

Those are 5-60 numbers, hence quite believable.

So this is a rolling start then? Well of course if we just push on the gas it wont move- we have very little torque...

I think our 0-60 shines with a launch!

ksdaoski, "gearing" has a lot to do with acceleration times. Can we be sure that both cars have identical drive train gearing?


Rolling starts takes "grunt" (torque) to have quick times. Grunt comes with deplacement and other factors. If you're going to go up against someone on a low speed rolling start, you better learn how to do rolling clutch dumps.
