awesome car. I wish I still had mine. Best cup holder placement EVER (the one on the left). Decently quick, easily modified with lots of aftermarket support. Easy SWAPS available, great shifter position, AWESOME seats, tons (and I mean TONS) of cargo space, eps, reliable....

and so on, and so on, and so on......

Cons: considered the black sheep of the honda family (not a con to me)

Are you looking to mod it or not?

I had one before my S and couldn't say enough good things about it

slow, small, cheap, the car to buy if you don't have a lot of money and don't mind over-paying for a small, slow, cheaply built car.

4/5 positive reviews.

no i'm not looking to modify it. it's gonna be my daily driver. they still seem to hold a premium as far as value. just trying to find a good one that a bunch of ricer boyz haven't annihilated is pretty difficult. i guess that goes with every honda. shame...

I always liked them and would have loved to have one as a DD. Due to the premium they hold I can't really afford it. I was able to find a SVT Focus for less than half the price though. Might not be your thing, but if you look up comparison tests from 2002, the SVT focus beats the Si every time. The only bad thing about the SVT as far as DD is that it doesn't get great mileage.

I had one, I didn't love it. It was reliable, pretty fun, but it was slow, a bit buzzy and terrible gas mileage for a 4 banger. I do a lot of highway driving when I get into a car, and I think running at 70 mph you're at 4k rpm. So it sucks on gas.

The black sheep of the Honda family is the EM2 with the D17a2 motor. If you're going to get an EP3, might as well grab an EM2 and save some money. The k20a3 just isnt worth the extra money you're going to spend.
