Ever rent an exotic?
I rented an S2000 from Rent -a-Vette. They seemed like a good place to go and had lots to choose from. You can also check the website periodically because they run coupon specials.
I don't think the exotics are worth it but the cheaper models like an S2000, Elise or Corvette are nice if you want to try one for the weekend. Rent-a-Vette policy is that the cars are insured and sold when the warranty expires, so if it breaks down, it is covered, if you hit something it is covered so they don't care if you hammer on it a little.

Also it's $1600 for the first 100 miles ($16/mi) so if you got it most likely you'd want to drive it more than 100 miles since those are the expensive ones.
