Man, I wish they could do something about that rear wing. It's so damn big.

Big improvement on both ends, this is the styling the 8 should have been.

Wish I had some extra dough to turn one into a track toy.

the entire wing is made out of carbon fiber. it is extremely durable but more importantly, very functional.

Lemme get this straight, the EVO IX will be a 05 or 06 MY ?

I'm thinking about getting an EVO but I'm worried about it's warranty denials.

Looks better, i'll give it that. Dont dig those pointy things on the roof though, however functional they are. yuck!

I am not seeing that much difference...... i don't like the front end... those goofy little circles for the fog lights look stupid... i like the huge fog lights from the evo V era.....

The back, all i see is the rear diffuser being the only real difference.? (and a euro license plate)

Looks like they maybe painted the center piece ( in front of the grill) black so you can't see it as well.... still a Mitsu emblem there though.... wheels look like some ugly aftermarket wheels to me.

O well.... guess i will stick with my 2003..... I am getting some 18" Silver TE37's for it.

Mine should look like this soon....but not with tinted windows....

While I like evo from a performance/value point of view I can't believe anyone could think that car looks sexy, good, sporty, etc. It looks like an econo box with a wing and nicer rims....that's it. But, that is probably one way they keep the price down. I don't fault them for their econobox styling, but I can't believe people think that it looks cool. It looks about as cool as a neon, galant, civic, etc.
