Anyway, I vote for the X. Get it new with a warranty.. Similar sums of money, and the newer car is usually the better choice. That way you'll never see an X and feel like you're driving something outdated...

As far as power is concerned, the X is showing great gains with just a tune. Near 100bhp over stock is somewhat easy to obtain, with other supporting mods. Both the VIII and IX can throw down as well, but I'm impressed more so with the X.

As far as the interior is concerned, I would much rather have a IX. The Recaro's on the X's have been having issues with quality control. That and the interior just seems so fake; so cheap, if you will. Granted the VIII and IX aren't much better, it makes all the difference in the world.

The suspension on the previous generations was great! No complaints what so ever. The X on the other hand is far too soft for my taste. They have catered to the every day person now, instead of the enthusiast.

If you are looking for a daily driver, the X is a great car. If you want a rally pedigree for the street, go with the VIII or IX.

The X looks less like a ricebox with a wing, I will say that

i dont care about the suspension cause it will quickly see a set of coilovers. the seat quality is interesting. my mitsu dealer doesnt have a gsr and no time to look around cause i get crazy hours at work. the s is gonna kill me in the rain. spun around a coulpe times goofing around on a corner.
