Interesting. I know one of the participants in that discussion. He has owned many cars and tracks them all. He just bought the Cayman S, so I'm not sure he has been able to track it yet. But even though the Elise is not his fastest car in terms of lap times, he says it is the most fun.

 

I saw a black Cayman S in person yesterday. Looked much better than it does in lighter colors (red, silver). It's really growing on me...

 

I didn't really read the article... but I don't really care what any of the numbers are, I would rather have the Exige for the rarity factor... and plus, it looks so damn cool

 

My friend owned an Elise for two years, and it's pain in the ass to get in and out of with the top attached. Couldn't see it at all as a daily driver. Cayman S is a good balance of the two. Elise may have a less maintenance engine?

 

The wife and I were at Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville, FL last week and both got to drive the Cayman S. Too short a drive to make any real assessments other than to say "We both liked it . . . a lot!"
