Yeah, but I would expect the IS-F to pull away faster and much more because of the 100 HP difference.

Why? 100hp isn't THAT much and given the small amount of area they raced, 3-4 cars is pretty significant.

The IS-F engine is designed like a Muscle car, not like a high rev'er like the Germans its up against. It peaks at like 5Kish RPM and has a CRAP load of it down at 1K RPM.

the IS-F is a 330whp-ish car that weighs quite a lot...not that quick the is350 is just not so quick.

IMHO.
how is the 350 not quick? i mean everyone has their own defintiion of "quick"-"fast" but if it wasn't then bmw wouldn't have had to come out with the 335 they would have just stayed with the 330.

the 350 is plenty quick for what it is, a 3500lb 6 cylinder sedan.
