Default F355 Prices dropping

OTHER 355 LISTINGS

Alas, with the F430 coming out(it makes the 355 look outdated), and the z06 it would be hard to go for a 355

That first one is not a good indication of prices. That dealer has a long, i.e. 30 year plus history of scamming, in fact the original owner went to jail for some time under some shady circumstances back in the 80's.

Never, ever, ever buy a car from those people. They always have deals that are too good to be true.

With any Ferrari the price is going to reflect either having or lacking a complete service history. Obviously you pay more up front for a well documented car.

Damn some people have more money than common sense.

There's an F430 for bid right now at $50k so far and that's for what you'll pay over MSRP.

That first 355 looks very nice, but there are some styling cues that look very early/mid 90s to me, not late 90s Ferrari. Though I realize the design cycle puts its design in at latest the mid-90s. Most of the body is beautiful, as I think the Modena is, but the flip-up head lights look out of place. As does the tall skinny shifter. But I'd still like to replace my S2000 with one.

They said it has a five speed MT. Isn't it a six speed?

Judging from what I've read on Ferrarichat.com I think it's more like $8k or so from a decent shop. But, the motor does apparently need to be removed from car for the service.

Buy a beat up Ferrari, you'll spend more than the amount you saved bringing it up to good condition.

The F355 is most likely my next car, so I am glad to see prices dropping. For a while I began to consider other cars, but the F355 keeps calling me back.
