Don't get me wrong, I love that they do these things. However, did anybody really need to see the video to know the answer to this question?

The Ducati enjoys on the order of twice the power/weight of the Ferrari, so I would assume it wins. Ferrari should have higher cornering speeds and be quicker in transitions as well (quicker to go from full left cornering to full right cornering). But not anything like enough to make up for the power/weight disadvantage.

Speaking of which, pushing 3500 lb., the 458 is quite a bit overweight for a purpose-built 2-seat sports car. Closer to 3000 lb. and I might've bought one...

3490 lb. curb weight, 3650 lb. as tested in R&T comparo w/ Gallardo Superleggera (which is 20 lb. lighter, despite V10 and awd).

I had similar problems with the Bugatti Veyron. I was THIS close to buying one for my gf until I saw that damn curb weight. I looked the salesman kindly in his eyes and said, "not today buddy."

I was able to find a fantastic car in my weight range on the way home. Wound up walking out with a shiny new Honda Fit. A fraction of the price AND the weight. I don't know who these Europeans are fooling with these overweight cars. They aren't getting anything by me (or s2ki) though.
