Race Fan: Hey, wait a minute. Are you telling me that F1 will become a Farrari parade?

FIA: Yes.

Race Fan: F*** FIA!

FIA: F*** You!

what bugs me the most is the fact that the FIA doesn't give a sh** about the 145,000 fans that showed up to watch. I understand that placing a chicane on turn 13 wouldn't be far to the Bridgestone drivers who had no problem, but all the teams should have been allowed to fit new tires on their cars before the race.

I have a feeling that there were no tyres at all that the Michelin cars deemed 'safe' ... not even the ones that they offered to fly in.

From what I understand:

The Michelin teams offered to race for show (no points) if the Chicane was put in.

Letting the Bridgestone teams fight it out for points. That might have been more intesteing for fans if not the full monty.
