Default The Future of Fun?

http://www.acura.com/FutureVehicles.aspx#/1

"For over 25 years, Acura has created a legacy of sporty driving. The TSX, renowned for its high-revving 4-cylinder engines and wind-in-your-hair attitude, is proof. And now we’re taking our fun-to-drive credo a step further by adding some special enhancements for the ultimate TSX experience. The TSX Special Edition. Truly fun driving—and it shows. Coming soon." -Acura

Hmm don’t know about any other specs with engine but so far it seems cosmetic. I wish for Acura's 25th anniversary they would bring out another NSX or Integra type of car...the celebration for this car company is very bland and goes against any type of real sport intentions

Yep, cosmetics only and that's too bad. My TSX was a great car and I'd be interested if they gave it some more go power. It was a typically solid Acura product and was a great bargain (on the used market).

I don't think Honda is trying.

What happened to you Honda? You used to be pretty cool. We used to be tight. You used to make sporty but affordable cars. Now its' like I don't even know you anymore.

Honda, there's a pedal missing from your "sporty" car.

You CAN blow your hair in the wind in a TSX...trust me I've had it for 8 years.

Do they come with in-cabin outlets now? I can just picture someone holding a blow dryer while driving.

Moon roof and windows down = enough turbulence in the cabin to blow your hair. But TSX also has a in-cabin power outlet, not sure if their is a hair dryer that has the right attachement though.

If that is the future of Honda/Acura fun, then I doubt that I will ever buy another Honda for the purpose of fun. I really wish that the Prelude, s2000, NSX, and Integra had sold well enough that they hadn't abandoned the entire idea of sports cars. Though I don't see how they were ever going to continue selling cars when their last sports car didn't see any power increase in it's 10 year life, and by the end all of its competitors had a MINIMUM of a 60hp advantage. Except the MX5 which somehow sells both to the public and to the enthusiasts. I really don't get why the MX5 has been the success that it is. All that I can figure is that it was always the lightest and the least expensive option.
