There's lots of talk on a supra coming out in the near future... I googled it, but I can't come up with anything except talk and speculation. Anyone have concept pictures or news on it?

 

some say its canceled, some say its still being made... There was a prototype running around at Nurburg ring this early spring I think it was. So who knows, but one thing is damn sure, its going to be very expensive, not like the last Supras are expensive now.

 

How are you so sure of that? You do know if Toyota makes this car the only target market that will probably be available is the 30-35k v6 300hpish range just like the 350z is right?

 

They should make an "inexpensive" V6 Supra and an expensive V8 one.

 

last i heard they were making a v10 supra.

The "next" Supra, like the "next" NSX, has been so over-hyped and over-rumored that it's impossible for anyone to get any sort of read from either manufacturer about their intentions to actually build said-dreamed-of car.

If we were to believe any of the rumors floating around about either car, they would come out with about 1 of 20 different trim levels, 1 or 2 of 15 different engines, and 1 or 2 of 5 different trannies. Every time someone mentions what they heard, 15 other people chime in that they heard it was coming out as well, but the specs are always comepletely different.

I have relegated my personal outlook to: "I'll believe it when I see the finished product in the flesh."

 

i heard the next Supra would be a hybrid...

 

I hope your joking....toyota has the volta, but its not a supra.
