Personally I like the red or tricolore 1098's as it seems the black one is just a straight rip of the Yamaha Ravens.

But awesome nonetheless. Sucks when you make a thread with no pics you unpatient bastard.

Ahh yea I kinda like the flat black parts on the Ravens

I do like the black w/ red frame though, it's the main reason I liked the Duc Monsters so much.

Can't wait to see pics man So you said theres a full carbon option, what does that change?

I think Ducati had flat black 999's and 749's and "Monster Dark" before the Raven black Yamahas.

Any case, flat black kicks ass, but no manufacturer can really lay claim to it as "their" color.

My Tuono has all the carbon bits from the original Tuono R:

but with the '03 bronze frame instead of gold.

I really want to get one too. I just want a chance to ride it to make sure I like it. Or get an opinion from someone who's ridden one. In a way it seems too much bike, and I've never ridden a Vtwin sport bike to know the difference. I just got rid of my 954 that had about the same HP, but the Vtwin has more torque and better power delivery. I ride my bikes hard, and don't like to buy something I don't have the balls to scream out.

input from experienced riders that have ridden a 1098 would be appreciated.
