Honestly, if I ever get a bike, I am not gonna go for anything less than a full onepiece suit (with knee sliders, elbow guards, hump and vents) with boots, gloves, and a superbly well rated helmet. Why? Because I will be a newbie on the bike and I think a little discomfort vs having the skin ripped off my body is a fair comprimise

And before you say it, yes, I will take a large amount of lessons

Tires,Tires, Tires! What do you like for street use. My VFR will need a new set in a few months. You VFR owners what did you decide on and how do they compare with the OEM's?

You need to fork off a new tire thread, you've strayed a bit too far from this gear thread.

I would suggest Bridgestone BT020 for your VFR.
