Your guy card is officially revoked.

Too much is ALMOST enough.

If some is good, then more is ALWAYS better.

I want a factory warranty on a car with 10,000HP. And the minute I get it, I want to mod it to make MORE POWER!

What if they said "Enough" at 16 sec cars from the 60s? We wouldn't have the S2000 for one.

I repeat:

MORE POWER!
Thank you. Now that you've revoked his guy card, I'll burn it.

Oh please, if anyone has run away with the horsepower title it's Mercedes. They cram an AMG V8 into everything they make now, and the least powerful AMG engine has over 450 horsepower. Even the Chrysler half of D-C has more 400+hp cars than GM or Ford. GM and D-C duking it out over 2 specific cars is nothing like the "pissing match" that was the 1960s.

This is why Japan used to have a national agreement of 276-hp cap. It didn't last because no one else followed. 500-hp cap is plenty of power, more than most of you could handle properly.

What a stupid post.

Anyway, what's wrong with more HP? Sure, most of the buyers can't drive them to their potential, but most of the S2000 owners can't drive their car to its potential either. So what? These cars are not about being practical. It's about bragging rights and flat out power.

So if DC upped the Viper's power again, then what? GM would also up the power, and it keeps going and going. At one point, I think enough power is enough. Frankly, I think there should be an international power cap, which should be set at 500 hp. That's enough power, even for a Veyron.
what kind of automotive communism is that? People that say "that's enough" for one thing or another lack the very imagination that pushes society further and further.

the interior shots on the c6 are pretty funny. I owned an S2000 and now a C6 and the C6's interior is a lot nicer than the S2000. As for the hp wars, well I'm scared to let my c6 loose because of the raw power it puts out. 600+ in a vette = sucide,

I wouldn't say that.

Most people can handle power in a straight line, and its not like you have to use all the power all the time.

But I will agree that for my skill and the situations where I drive, I don't need 500+hp.

I have to disagree there. Most people think they can handle it, then they end up upside down or t-boned on a tree. With all that power people are always tempted and end up getting in trouble.

I can't wait to see the new Blue Devil, must be interesting.
