Default Getting rid of M Coupe for an '06 C6

Yea, I've decided to go back to Chevy. I sure miss the torque and power of the V8. After test driving the C6 I just fell in love. The M Coupe has been nothing but a blast to drive for the past 3 years that I've had it.

I originally opt for the Z06 C6, but seeing how those won't be available until at least next year and I need a car now... my options are somewhat limited. Originally I wanted to get a 997 S but the dealers around here are marking them up crazy and the prices are just ridiculous! A used 02-04 996 Turbo is within my price range, but it just doesn't feel right to pay 70-90k for a used 3 year old car.

Any other suggestions?

Please no FORD suggestions

C6, C5 Z06 for 30-32 grand or a 911 turbo would be my choices.

How many miles on the M coupe and what price will you be asking?

Z06 will be easily accessible (at MSRP) in about 60 days. I would go with a good new/used 05 C6 Z51. Can't go wrong with the new Vette for the price. (btw...I have one for sale too

my vote goes to the Z06...that car is worth waiting a couple of months for.

BMW Z8
Ohh good one. They are reasonable now too.

The CTS-V is a good one too -- but are they not due for more power and a new interior next year?

depends on what the def of reasonable is...they have come down a lot, but you're still going to spend 80k++ for a decent one. It is a sweeet car though.

CTS-V is a good car....how about an Audi RS6? Can you stand having an automatic?

I'd have to add myself to the Z8 backer here, but I would not pass up a C5 Z06 or C6 at all.

There's also the GTO, which will be quick, and save you some cash. Not the prettiest, but it is effective...same engine as the C6 too.
