Default got redline?

i've been a real big fan of the s2k especially the Ap1 because of the 9k redline and all so i just wanted to share a picture of my Si with some fellow Vtak owners.

just because a motor can rev that high doesn't mean that it makes power up there... does it?

dyno charts?

My co-worker recently bought an Si sedan, and I was impressed!
I like the clutch / shifter feel and the exhaust note is good too.
Overall, a very good package. How's the power at that range of RPM?

Was the car even on? Don't the needles swing when you start the car up?

I wouldnt doubt those k20 motors at all. With the right mods they can crack 220whp easily and reliably. Hondata4 on k20A2's (rsxs) bring the fuel cut right to about 8,600 which looks like what his si is doing.

My buddy has a 06 SI with I/H/E and Hondata. He very slowly pulls on me on highway rollers. Mines stock and not yet broke in but what ever, K20's are amazing motors.

They usually do make power up there. Roommate has a full bolt-on k20 and makes 200whp on a conservative dyno. My favorite part about the engine is the torque compared to the b series though, the added power is just a bonus.

He revs to about 8800 as well with kpro, I drag raced his car a few times but it might have been 8700. Runs low/mid 14's consistently with a mediocre 60 ft.
