Default GTO not canceled afterall

GM has announced that the GTO will live-on after all. It will be based on the Zeta-platform along with the Camaro and again be designed primarily by Holden in Australia.

There is a more in-depth article in my Autoweek that just arrived today.

In other words, like the new Camaro, you won't see the updated one until several years from now.

2008 is what they are saying. Not bad, that is only 4 years with the current body. Now all they need is a marketing department that can actually figure out how to sell a car.

while that's good news to hear, I am dissapointed, because I was looking to buy a new car this year, not next year or the year after that. bah stupid designers. when are they going to start thinking about my needs?
