This was posted on another forum, and as I said on there.. A good friend of mine worked at a very large dealership doing detailing for many years. This was actually common practice, at least there. I said the same thing the first time I watched him do it (to a fairly new GTO).. but its done all the time. Actually does a nice job getting bad dirt out of carpets. Not something Id do myself, and now a good reason why I wont take my car somewhere to get detailed; but Im not shocked at all anymore seeing people do this.

Its the owner that did it becuase the detail guys wouldn't. There is no way that is normal think of all the electronics in that car that are getting blasted with high pressure water. Also it is a brand new car not something with 100k miles on it. There should be no dirt. Not good. Poor Mercedes. I would treat you right.
