Maybe I am stupid though... somehow I fail to see why you two still hang around on an S2000 board unless your mission in life it to attack those who dislike the interior of the Z06.

On the record - I'm a big fan of the Z06 - probably the best bang for the buck in the sports car world. My problem is that the real pleasure of driving the Z06 is on the track or at license-revoking speeds. I'd love one for a track/autocross only ride but thats about it...

Those are some pretty ignorant people for sure. Not indicative of any of the ones I've met personally, but as stated previously, every group has its meatheads...

The guy that spewed about Japanese cars and that buying them equates to throwing America to the wolves is just plain without skull. Nevermind that those companies employ thousands or maybe even millions here. Nevermind that American companies own most of theirs. Nevermind that a lot of American-badged cars are foreign in every other facet. Forget Truman's smart work in helping to rebuild Japan as an ally..I suppose they'd like it if we were still at war with 'em.

I'm sick of hearing the word "Japs" too. It's disrespectful (obviously), and it cheapens people when it's used. Further, claiming moral righteousness because you fought for your country against the "Japs" or the "krauts", while still holding those prejudices and using those words, makes you an idiot in my book. Plenty of other respectable veterans don't behave this way.

 

There are ass monkey's in every group. It seems like all of them are coming out of the woodwork over there at once.

Don't stereotype Corvette owners, hell don't stereotype at all, it just brings you down to level of the scum you loath.
