That is Chris V. He's sliding the rear and front at the same time. Pretty sick. I think if he tried that on a GP bike, it would be different though

It is a term commonly used in flat tracking. It is referring to sliding the rear and steering with it sliding. Lots of fun but hard on your body work during the learning curve (on a street sportbike). Good luck.

Haha... I know I'm not as good but that is one of the funnest things to do on a street bike. It's fun to see the look on peoples faces (uh not that I'd ever do that on the street.. uh ya) Close second to stand-ups in my book.

Flame suit on for all the big whiny babies.

I'd love to see you do that on the street. Are you sure you didn't just lock the rear up and save a high side??

That is an absolute blast!!! my season is almost up and the cold streets make slipping and sliding the only fun thing to do
Lean in way early -grab binders like you mean buisness -when the engine takes the rear towards the corner don't correct -just ease off the brakes and roll on the power wonderful S in and out of corner
R1 does it with ease -haven't figured out how to get the s2k to do it

Is that how you save a highside?

Like the guy above. Cold streets help with the sliding and getting comfortable with the feeling.

I back it in all the time....on my dirt bike! I've done it on the track, but do my best not to slide on the street, since there's a fine line between a cool slide vs. a painful/expensive one.
