Hi...Im going to buy a 1998 Eclipse GS-T soon but it has around 101000 milleage on it...and I was wondering if its bad to mod a car /w such high milleage...

oh, thats a dsm (eclipse, talon, laser) website, and it would make more sense to post questions there, as most people there are very knowledgeble about their cars. i personally dont know how bad it would be, but i know that my talon has 120k on it, and its fine with intake/exhaust/boost controller (other than regular crappy old things breaking ;P )

I was going to buy one of those myself and I heard over and over that they just go from one mechanic to the next.

probably want to do a compression/leak down test on that block first. Those are pretty durable motors, but it all depends on what was done to it, and how it was treated for those 100k miles.
