I'd wait til the GTR reliability issues are addressed. If it is as bulletproof as I hope, Id take a GTR - although i hate the styling for both cars.

the engineering of the GT-R was enough for me to overcome the styling issues i had with the car initially, but the NSX!? It is harder for me to think of a car from the early 90s that was sexier than the NSX, other than the McLaren F1 of course

[QUOTE=JonBoy,Jul 6 2009, 05:08 AM] I would buy an RX-7 and put the remaining money towards making it reliable.

The NSX is an outdated icon. No doubt that it is still beautiful, but competition and technology has as usual, taken down the Honda.

Being that I live in a place with snow, I would be tempted to get the GTR. However, bending the rules a bit - I'd go with S2000, NSX, and Civic Si (no mods to any of 'em).

I'd take a GT-R all day. Sure, I prefer manual transmissions over any other available transmissions, but the GT-R is just too sick of a car to avoid purchasing if you have the money for it.
I'd use my S as a dd and have the GT-R for the weekends/special occasions.
