Not my kind of car at all and totally different than a 135 but if it makes you happy kudos.
I can respect that

I don't think that the 135i and the IS are that much different though. The 135i is both Lux and sporty just a little heavier on the sporty side. The Lex is both Sport and Lux as well but just heavier on the Lux side

BTW- This car is mostly going to be for the wife. I will drive the WRX for now. I am waiting to see what Honda comes out with in the near future (think CRZ) and also waiting to see how the 370Z turns out after one year of being on the market. Then I will pick up one of those for my weekend car

I wish you could get a 6spd manual tranny in that thing. But cars are all about compromises and I will say that the design is stunning. From the exterior it's a beautiful car, one of the best looking saloons on the road. Congrats!

the IS is a cool car and my sis has 1. the things i don't like about it is the fact that the interior is cramped for the size of car it is, and also the car doesn't have enough headroom for taller people like myself. if the front seats can be lowered another inch or 2, then it would be perfect.

I cannot get over how the IS is a glorified Corolla. Even the body pieces are WAAAAAAAAY too similar.

love the IS, but you should have gotten that blue thing in the backroung of the second pic...
Consider that I went form an Sti to my IS350.

Completely different cars. He noted that he bought it as a Dailey driver, the IS350 is far superior. I basically sold my Sti because I was tired of driving in for an hour in rush hour traffic.

Excellent choice. You'll love it as a daily driver.

Yup and the S2000 was a glorified Honda del Sol!

You are right, I should have got the 307hp/277ft-lb Corolla instead

y2ks2k- I did really consider the new Sti even though I have the WRX wagon. I just heard too many horror stories about all the issues they have been having. I don't really plan on heavily modding my cars much any longer so getting the Sti and doing Stage 2 just to fix what Subaru should have fixed was not an option for me.

I did have a chance to get a White with BBS package for pretty cheap too. The Lex will be better for what I need

I haven't had any problems with my STi at all ('08). Stage 2 isn't necessary at all, just hella fun!
