The Hybrid fight that is. I know many believe that he who has the money has the power to win(toyota fans).

I believe the vehicle in reference will be the CR-Z. I will be looking at a highly-efficient DD in the next year or so. I hope Honda does it right. They seem to be on point with their Civics, Accords, and CR-V so lets nail this hybrid car!!

**They do say that it will be cheaper than the current 23k Civic Hybrid. Thats an indication that it will be a little smaller...so even better

 

This will sell like the proverbial hotcakes.

 

They'll sell like i-pods. Everyone has one but you dont seem to notice it b/c your enjoying yours too much.

If it looks remotely like the concept I'll buy one. I've got an '07 SI now, but I could stand to get some better mileage. Plus, I drive 2500 miles/month.

 

 

They aren't talking about the CR-Z. They said "Prius fighter" which to me means a four door with a hatch. Not a two door sports car.

Yes, that's true, but when you consider this that they do say "Honda CEO Takeo Fukui has announced that the Japanese automaker has not yet begun its fight in the hybrid vehicle segment." then it stands to reason it will take more than just one model to complete the fight. So in a round about way, they are indeed talking about the CR-Z. Nobody has yet to combine FUN + SPORTY + USEFUL INTERIOR SPACE + HYBRID, and if Honda does indeed dleliver that in the new CRX, then I say Honda will have launced the knock out punch.
