Honda Element
I know I've seen lots of ppl who have posted about getting these vehicles as second cars, but I went and sat in one for the first time today while they worked on finding the rattling in my car. I have to say I was quite impressed (ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE). I didn't realize how aggresively they were pricing these things. I was planning on looking into a maxima or accord as a second car, but they may have sold me on the element. I love the comfortable seating position, lots of room, and guage cluster. I'll probably take a test drive on Tuesday when I bring my car back. Just wanted to share my experience. Probably the best bang for your buck if you ask me, especially considering it's a Honda. For the same price as a Civic I think I would definently rather have the Element.

on the other hand, the aztech forces me to shield my eyes... now that's a fugly vehicle.

I like the style and utility of the Element, maybe because it is design to get appreciative from younger buyers.

I've test driven it and I like it. I like the flat floor, premium audio, 160 HP VTEC, full time 4WD, , hosable interior (except for the front), lower center of gravity than the CR-V. My dealership's owner thinks it is quieter inside than the CR-V.
I'd go for the EX 4WD auto or manual.
This thread is a "car talk" thread though. There are a bunch like this in "car talk."
